Provisional 2009 Calendar Released

The provisional 2009 calendar has been released. It could well be another busy season as Eddie looks set to once again compete in both the Sprint and Endurance championships. Llandow makes a return to the calendar after a year away while Lydd appears to have been dropped indefinitely. Missing from the calendar at the moment is the European championship date, which is as yet unconfirmed. Should this go ahead, it is tipped to be held over the August Bank Holiday weekend and it is also likely that either Ellough Park or Llandow will be dropped in its place. Eddie has already said that he will not compete in the Winter Championship because he wants to rest his rib injury over the winter. He also admitted he is unlikely to race in this year’s Man of Steel Race in December, which has become a tradition over the last few years. He has, however, said that he may well do a race in the newly created BPKDC Elite Championship at some point next season.
