Eddie has urged fans not to worry about stories about his back injury. Eddie injured his back down the gym last week, causing concern over the upcoming test. However, Eddie has insisted that it was not that serious and he just had to rest as a precaution.
"It was just a bit of muscle ache, like I often get in my arms and legs after an intense workout" were Eddie's comments yesterday "The only thing is that you have to take a little more care when dealing with your back".
Eddie also went on to say that there was never any doubt over his participation in either the upcoming test or any of the squash matches.
Eddie did play an extended squash match on Thursday and, after leading the first set 2-1, eventually lost 3-2. |
