Back in the studio for another promotional photo shoot prior to the 2005 season Some of the photos from this shoot were used on the 2005 website. Eddie with IMSD Racing team-mates Stephen Deuchar and Ian Miller with IMSD Junior star Seth Scott Deuchar sitting in the kart. Eddie would secure his first podium finish at this race. Racing hard at Bayford Meadows. Eddie very quickly became a leading force in the Inters championship. Driving for IMSD Racing, he and the team became the dominant force.
Back in the sprints, however, the 2005 season got off to a bit of a shakey start. here Eddie is taken out at the first corner while leading from pole at Clay. Eddie with IMSD team-mates (from left to right), Ian Miller, Stephen Deuchar and Ian Wilson at Spa in Belgium. This race would be Eddie's first of many wins in 2005! The endurance championship had its fair share of ups and downs. Here at Bayford Meadows the team is repremanded after Ian Spin-turned the kart into the mechanics bay having suffered accident damage after a rival drove into the back of him. Streaking away for the competition at Spa.
The class win at Spa was a dominant one. Despite losing 10 laps on the first day with a broken drive chain, the team still won by 7 laps! Victory! Being interviewed on the podium at Spa! The impressive trophy. There would be several more to come in 2005...

The team would go on to score 5 race wins, 3 second places and a third in what was a truly dominat year. Champions!
